The North Carolina Postal History Society currently has three awards it can bestow. The first is the A. Earl Weatherly Award for postal history research which is awarded on an as appropriate basis. The second is the North Carolina Postal History Society Literature Award, which is awarded annually for the best article in the society journal in the previous year. The third is the North Carolina Postal History Society Exhibit Award which is awarded as appropriate to qualifying exhibits entered into competition at the host show of the annual meeting of the North Carolina Postal History Society (NCPHS).
